Christina Hendricks is an American actress who is best known for her performance as Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of the period drama on AMC Mad Men (2007-2015). In addition to receiving critical praise, her work on the show garnered six Emmy Award nominations for the category of best supporting actor. Through her career of 20 years, she became known for her role in the comedy and drama Another Period, a crime drama called Tin Star.
